How do the main ideas go together or connect?

I was lucky in my choice of a big question for this section of English 12A. Everything I've read and watched has benefited me and my question. My question was "Can people be too trustworthy of their government?". In my personal opinion, yes, people can be too trustworthy of their government. If you looked at the evidence provided from Brave New World and the episode of the Twilight Zone, anyone could see that its true. I bet there is someone out there that thinks that it's not true. People can't be too trustworthy of their government. I don't know how or where they are living but we live in no perfect world. Sorry to say it but it's true. My big question corresponds perfectly with what I felt we wer

What do I still need to work on more?

To work on all the things we are doing in this class is hard. We are doing everything but I feel like there is no time to do that everything. What I need is time. Time in the day to read a chapter or two. Time in the weekend to get the creative writing and the presentation done. I need time to do all of the little things and  the big things that are my life. The PowerPoint presentation is throwing me for a loop because I would rather read the whole book and then reflect in a simple paper afterwords. Picking and choosing in a book makes me have to try and remember what page I saw that one thing on and then I have to read through everything once again to figure out if I was correct on the page in the first place. I have been under a lot of pressure for schoolwork and things beyond high school work. So I need to work on stress relieving. I need to work on figuring out what is more important in my life at a given time.

What were the main ideas we learned this past week?

I don't know if anyone is having the same struggle as me but for the third or fourth week in a row, I'm lost. No clue as to what we are learning. But if I were to really think about it, I would probably say we learned about our question for the Alchemist. We learned about paths and how our book is going to relate, eventually

What were the main ideas we learned this past week?

For the second week in a row, I'm lost again. There wasn't much that stuck in my mind over the past 5 days. The only thing I truly remember was the part about secondary learning. Moving on past high school towards college or work or whatever you plan to do. I'm not sure what the point of secondary learning was but I remember the topic name. Maybe it was how learning in this class can supposedly benefit myself later. Or maybe that was a small snit bit I caught on to. But the learning was kind of lost when my focus was lost to the distractions. Focus on one thing at once. Don't jump around or promise false things. It can cause lots of misinterpretation and stress.

How would I rate my understanding of all the ideas from class this week?

For the most part, everything was understood. But every so often I would get lost, just like most of the class. Tangents were spit out left and right that I couldn't keep up with. And they weren't from the group of boys sitting in front of me. I would rate my understanding as a 8 on a scale of 10. I would more likely understand everything if some things weren't changing so often. One day it will be like this, but the next day it's like this. Keep it the same way until the duration of the project is done. Through the videos and examples it has made my project easier. I can effectively learn through the examples and I could probably finish it within the next few days if it wasn't so much of everything else.
